Built on the GoodQA tools already in place
GoodQA already provides custom data tables, agents, mailboxes,
dashboards and chat. The work configures these existing
capabilities, loads TIMBAR’s data and connects its website and
business inbox. This reuse makes a roughly 40-hour implementation
practical, including research automation, team tools, testing and
handover.
01
Your compatibility database
Import Alex’s 88 supplied models, aliases and saw-head photos,
then add models discovered through the research sweep. Store chain
pitch (3/8, 1/4 and .325), tension pin position, anti-rotation
stop, backplate distance from center, sprocket-to-end-of-housing
clearance and spring housing/bushing interference, plus drive
sprocket type and height. Include spring rate, power and stall
data where available. Oil holes are omitted from fit decisions.
Source trust ranking and cross-site consensus are fields from day
one, alongside source links, evidence, conflicts, open questions
and approval status. Imported or discovered facts stay unverified
until reviewed; missing specifications stay visible.
02
Research that fills the gaps
Run a fast sweep of the top retailer and platform sites to collect
every brand and known model found there, then research each model
for replacement parts, manuals, specifications and photos. Look
for CAD files in STEP, SLDPRT, DXF, DWG and IGS formats, internal
diagrams, box photos and retail photos.
Rank sources by trust, compare cross-site consensus and surface
conflicting claims for review. Configure periodic re-runs to find
new brands, models and evidence. The package includes this
research workflow and its initial run; unavailable or inaccessible
information is recorded as a gap for manufacturer follow-up.
03
Manufacturer questions and automatic follow-up
Build a missing-question list for each model, find published
manufacturer business contacts and send specific one-to-one
emails. Connect the mailbox for automatic inbox watching, reply
capture and follow-up until answered, at an approved cadence.
Store answers as linked evidence for TIMBAR review.
No manufacturer email is sent until the sender identity and domain
are set and Tisha approves the wording. Outreach is one-to-one to
published business contacts, never bulk, with truthful subjects
and an opt-out line. Opt-outs stop contact; non-responders can be
handed to a person. Manufacturer responses and response times
cannot be guaranteed.
04
A clear waiting dashboard
See who the team is waiting on, what information is missing and
how long each question has been outstanding. Show contact and
follow-up history, incoming answers, review status and the next
action in one dashboard.
Assign an owner and hand non-responders to Melanie or another team
member for manual outreach. Record that handoff so automated and
human follow-up remain coordinated, with answered questions linked
back to the model record.
05
A conversational shopper checker
Embed chat on the TIMBAR website. Ask what the shopper knows about
their saw, then follow up even when the model is unknown or its
label is missing. Offer database photos to identify the year or
range, guide them to the model number on the box and request
saw-head photos with and without housing when useful.
Use approved records and fit rules to answer
Proven compatible,
Likely compatible or
Not compatible. Likely-compatible advice includes
TIMBAR’s approved 30-day return promise. Unknown,
incomplete or conflicting cases show Needs review
and hand off to a human. Photos help identification and review;
they do not certify chain pitch or physical fit.
06
Conversation and photo intake
Save shopper conversations and submitted photos against the model
or unresolved case, with the shopper’s question, contact details
when provided and the reason for handoff. Give staff a review
queue for resolving cases and proposing evidence updates.
Load TIMBAR’s supplied head photos with and without housing and
with and without a coin reference. Configure photo permissions,
shopper consent, access and retention settings with TIMBAR before
launch; staff approval controls changes to published fit advice.
07
Demand signals and a quarter-inch waitlist
Report which saws shoppers ask about, unresolved models and
quarter-inch demand. Collect a quarter-inch version waitlist with
consent and contact details, so TIMBAR can understand demand for
the version being explored.
Bring in TIMBAR’s existing market research and basic public
retailer/platform signals such as prices, popularity and available
sales or market-share information. Compare site-visitor chat
interest with those signals. Label estimates and unavailable
figures clearly; public signals do not guarantee sales volumes.
08
Tools the team can operate
Configure staff access, a staff assistant for approved knowledge
and open cases, editable model/evidence records, fit-data
approvals, the outreach dashboard and demand reporting. Staff can
review shopper conversations and photos, answer escalations and
keep the database current.
Test fit outcomes, unknown cases, email approval and follow-up,
access and mobile use. Deploy, confirm backup/export and hand over
project source, data and an operating guide. Train the team in one
session and include 14-day support with 3–5 hours of triage and
agreed-scope fixes, 4 hours expected.
